Snapchat Ads and Pinterest Ads are now live in FiveX. Both platforms are in phase 1 of their integration, which means the foundational infrastructure is in place and the data is flowing into your dashboard.
What phase 1 includes
Phase 1 covers four key building blocks for each platform:
- Structure: the account, campaign and ad group hierarchy is set up and mapped to FiveX's advertising data model
- Spend data ingestion: ad spend is read directly from the Snapchat and Pinterest APIs and stored in FiveX
- Scheduled sync jobs: our own cron jobs keep the numbers up to date automatically, so you never look at stale data
- Dedicated ads pages: each platform gets its own ads page in the FiveX dashboard where you can view performance at a glance
Why Snapchat and Pinterest
Multi-channel advertisers need more than just Amazon and bol. Snapchat and Pinterest are visual, intent-driven platforms where marketplace brands can reach audiences earlier in the discovery funnel. With both now feeding spend data into FiveX, you can compare ROAS and TACoS across every channel, not only the ones with native marketplace ad consoles.
What's next
Phase 2 will add deeper metrics: impression-level data, audience insights and creative performance breakdowns. For now, the sync jobs are running and the ads pages are live. Connect your Snapchat and Pinterest accounts from the integrations page to start seeing your data flow in.
Operator impact
The important part is comparison. A brand can spend €1,500 on Amazon, €800 on bol Ads, €600 on Meta, and now start testing Pinterest or Snapchat without creating another reporting island. Phase 1 gives teams the foundation: campaign structure and spend that can sit next to marketplace revenue, inventory and margin. That is enough to start asking better questions, even before every downstream metric is available.
For example, a home décor brand might use Pinterest to create early discovery demand for a new collection, while Amazon and bol capture the final purchase. Judging Pinterest ROAS alone undervalues the channel, and judging Amazon ROAS alone over-credits the marketplace. Bringing spend into FiveX is the first step toward comparing the full journey: where demand is created, where it converts, and whether the total SKU margin can afford the mix.
Snapchat has a different role. For visual consumer products, it can create fast creative tests and audience learning. But the same rule applies: spend should not scale in isolation. It needs to sit next to stock cover, contribution margin and channel-level performance. Phase 1 gives operators the data foundation to keep those tests visible, controlled and ready for deeper optimisation in the next phase.
That matters especially for seasonal peaks. If Pinterest starts creating demand three weeks before a promotion and Snapchat validates creative angles quickly, marketplace teams can prepare stock and ad budgets earlier. The channels become part of the same commercial rhythm instead of separate experiments reported after the fact.
